Sure, I can learn a song by playing it a few times, but if I really want to get it perfectly, it takes much longer than just a few times. You know how the song starts off with a black key glissando? Well, according to Philip's interpretation that I really liked, there is a black key glissando that starts off the piece. There is a "professional" way of executing a black key glissando, and that is by using the side of your index finger and sliding it either up or down, depending on which way the song tells you to go. I must be a noob at glissandos, but I ended up re-recording it so much that I ripped a chunk of my skin off in the area that I was doing the glissandos. Ouch, right? But that did not stop me from playing! I was really adamant about making a perfect recording by that day ...
