This is a great patriotic song for America! Published in 1906. Here's some background on this wonderful song! National Emblem is a march composed in 1902 and published in 1906 by Edwin Eugene Bagley. It is a standard of the American march repertoire, appearing in eleven published editions. Bagley composed the score during a 1902 train tour with his family band. He became frustrated with the ending, and tossed the composition in a trash can. Members of the band fortunately retrieved it and secretly rehearsed the score in the baggage car. Bagley was surprised when the band informed him minutes before the next concert that they would perform it. It became the most famous of all of Bagleys marches. Despite this the composition did not make Bagley wealthy for he sold the copyright for $25. Bagley incorporates into the march the first twelve notes of The Star-Spangled Banner played by Euphoniums and Trombones and ingeniously disguised in duple rather than triple time. The rest of the notes are all Bagleys, including the four short repeated A-flat major chords that lead to a statement by the low brass that is now reminiscent of the National Anthem. Unusually, Bagleys march does not incorporate either a break strain or a stinger. The US military uses the trio section as ceremonial music for the color guard when presenting and retiring the colors. Just me messing around (all fk-ups are included) playin a few bars of blues after having few beers, sorry about the volume changes as I always tend to hit the vol knob on guitar as I'm strumming for some reason. This is really a great feeling ole vintage Fender 70's USA Hardtail Stratocaster loaded with a set of David Gilmour EMG pickups running into my Very Rare Marshall "Original Classic Limited Edition" Stack from 1986. Its covered in a Green tolex and gold piping and original small cheq grillcloth. The Head is a 50 Watt 4-Input head(which is pretty much bone stock except for having the bright cap clipped, I do have it loaded with a pair of Electro-Harmonix Fat Bottle EH6550 Power tubes (gives it a ton of headroom & clarity) and then goes into the top cab which is loaded with 4-G12H30 16ohm Blackbacks from 1974 Which give this combination a really amazing strat tone live...Thanks for checking out my video and enjoy....
